So for each column/each assignment, you can modify manual vs. automatic policy.

Good morning, can we have video recording of this session for review later?
Sunita Sharma

Would I have a sandbox set up for me to practice?
Vivian Medina-Messner | Art Education, PhD

Can you please talk about the imported assignments. They show up in the gradebook. At the moment, it is set up to 0%, but it still shows up in the gradebook.
Vivian Medina-Messner | Art Education, PhD
40:52
Imported assignments confuse students because it displays next to total
Vivian Medina-Messner | Art Education, PhD

@Sunita Sharma You can create a sandbox here - https://ts.vcu.edu/askit/teaching-and-learning/canvas/faculty/sandbox-create-a-sandbox-course-faculty/

In the future, it would be great if you have a workshop...relating to feedback for large online classes...100 students - 200 students. Canvas best practices. Thanks.

Colleagues at other institutions who use different LMSs get a message and a cheer when they have nothing left to grade. Has Canvas ever considered doing this? :)
Karen Ballengee

The school I attend uses confetti and stuff after you turn in an assignment (from a student view)

I LOVE using the rubrics but forget every semester how to activate the Mastery Learning tab to the gradebook and panic until I re-figure it out
Ana Andrada
01:10:00
Will I be able to use rubrics from other courses that I teach?
Ellen Carpenter (she/her)
01:10:33
I don't remember ever checking "use rubric for grading" but when I wanted to confirm I received this message :( You can't edit this rubric, either because you don't have permission or it's being used in more than one place. Any changes you make will result in a new rubric based on the old rubric. Continue anyway?

We had a quick question come to our team - does Instructure have/recommend a resource about giving feedback in large courses in Canvas?
