For sandbox, just create a new course. That is where you create your courses.
We are working on setting up Q & A Sessions for the near future, wherein you can ask Canvas Consultants more questions.

The dummy student works great (StudentView). You just won't have the ability to test anything google since that dummy students doesn't technically have a google account.
We are working with our consultants to approve the templates being created, but you can start with your pages now.
Will you be going over how to add submit button for turning in assignments?
Ricardo: is canvas going on to Classlink. Are are using CLEVER still?
The idea is that Canvas will auto launch and also log you in once you sign in to Canvas (students too).

We have added Google Assignments (the best part of google classroom) to our Canvas via Rich Text Editor
The free template is available now. You can access it via Commons on Canvas. The two templates specific to HLPUSD are still being edited and finalized by our Canvas Consultants.
Are there certain things we have to have visible in our course menu or is it up to each teacher/grade level team to decide. Ex: do we have to have OUTCOMES, Conferences, showing or can we remove that from the menu? The less options to see the better for littles.

Anything you create in your sandbox can be imported into your actual class.
You decide what you want to have visible. There are things that you might want to see but there is no need for your students to see (rubrics, analytics, outcomes, etc.)

I used Canvas as a student and as an instructor at a college. In my elementary class, I am thinking of breaking up an integrated unit into weekly modules with similar pattern for each week. Anyone else thinking of ideas? Please share.

No, grades from Canvas will sync with Aeries Gradebook.
